At mainline, the original plan was to begin retirement of the A320 as the Max arrived, but now, they have elected to extend the lives on their Airbus narrowbodies and focus on the retirement of the E190’s instead, so it could stand to reason that there isn’t a huge incentive to move A321s to mainline given that it is already seeing a pretty sizeable capacity increase.

Also, not sure what the Rouge fleet rules are, but if they add an A321 will they have to retire (or transfer back to mainline) an A319?
