I heard that the Airbus is going to fly their A350-1000 to Hong Kong and then to TPE. I am wondering that is that true? Does anyone know a little bit deatil about it ? I hope can get it if it comes to Hong Kong Thank you very much guys.

Rumor has it that the A350-1000 will come to HKG via MCT this month. If true, probably a customer tour.

TPE???? I see CI firming their A350 options, and maybe going for the -1000 rather than the -900. When is CI #11 being delivered? Should be any time soon, its at the delivery center. Maybe it and the -1000 will be in TPE for an announcement.

Airbus' A350-1000 F-WLXV is embarking on a world promotion tour. They probably be back in 3 weeks. I don't have the exact schedule, but Middle East during the last few days, North East Asia this week, Singapore next week and then down under.



In Doha they were welcomed by the local av geek, Al Baker , who also is boss of Qatar Airways . QR own A350-1000's are in final stages of completion for delivery soon.



Yesterday a demo flight was completed from Muscat. I guess the flight to HKG / Cathay will be commenced today.



Over the coming week a number of customers (CX, SQ, VN) and airlines Airbus wants to convince (Korean, ANA, Qantas) are visited. No doubt a few boxes of real good wines were checked in at Toulouse.

According to report from media in Taiwan, the aircraft will fly from Korea to TPE in Jan31 afternoon, then it would perform an hour flight over Taiwan on the next day, and then leave Taiwan for Vietnam that evening, then it would join the Singapore Airshow

Grrr, I wanted it to come to Saigon! Would have been a good opportunity to spot it. I'll just have to deal with the stubbier beauties. I guess one can dream that VN will order the A35K, but I doubt it. I don't think any orders will be announced on this tour, but it would be a pleasant surprise.

Visited today. Nice aircraft, among others testing the airco / temperature / humidity fluctuations between different zones. SIN is a good place for that.

I have only seen reference to a Qantas & Media demo flight tomorrow (Monday) afternoon departing at 12pm and arriving back around 1:30pm. Would be nice to know if there is indeed an extra flight on today though.

I believe one of Airbus's strap lines was that the aircraft could make AKL-New York nonstop. Assuming that's with a decent payload that would be attractive to ANZ.
