It only works on certain routings. For example, I’m going to Vegas in March and the VX site directs me to book with AS if I search HNL-LAS. However if I search HNL-LAX/SFO it does work. Strange and frustrating because you can’t book MCS on Alaska, which is ridiculous.

If you're having that experience, keep double-confirming your reservation...even calling an agent!

It has done this since June, but only for bookings that involve travel past 24APR18, the date of the single PSS cutover. Bookings done on VX.com ticket on their 984 stock and stay on their partition, whereas anything for travel after 24APR18 forwards to AS.com and books in the AS partition on 027 stock.

It's part of the drain-down cutover AS is doing, similar to what US/AA did with their integration.
