Quick question. I’m scheduled on SWA 1748 from Slc -Den today and upon checking my boarding pass it doesn’t have the WiFi logo like my connecting flight does. I thought all the Southwest planes had WiFi since the -300/ 500 we’re retired. Anyone know which aircraft this is, or why?

Also I have a very tight connection in DEN tonight and notice that the aircraft seems to be delayed past week quite often on arriving into SLC and departing ? Any insight ?

All planes now have wifi. Maybe it's inop on the plane you're on? It will be an old AirTran bird, so it definitely should have it.

All of WN's planes are equipped with wifi. As for your connection, there are a number of variables as to why its delayed.. Hope you have a good flight.

I had that happen recently as well. All had WiFi...slow, however

I've had a couple flights where the wifi was out recently. That said, they should all have the symbol I would think. You usually don't get any warning ahead of time if it is out or not.

As to the delay, you can use a plane tracker and go back in time on your planes route to see where the delay started. It might have been going through a city with bad weather or a busy station like SFO that just has delays because it gets backed up.
