Trump's 757

Wed Feb 07, 2018 6:47 pm

Does anyone know what the current status is of Trump's 757? Has he sold it, do other members of his family use it? Are there any restrictions placed on its use by the Secret Service as to who and when it may be used? Does it get preferred status if and when it is used? Thanks

I was in NYC on January 15 and 16. I flew into and out of LGA, and saw Trump's 757 sitting on the business jet pad on the western side of the airport, not too far from the intersection of runways 13 and 22. That was the first time I ever saw it.

I had the same experience in November. Landed Runway 22 and was sitting on the right side of the plane, and it came into plain view. Without even thinking, I said "oh, really?!" and a person sitting near me laughed and said "yeah, I saw it too."

Don't know, but I wouldn't be surprised if other family members are using it on business. I doubt the Secret Service would be involved, nor would the aircraft get special treatment, since POTUS isn't flying on it for the forseeable future. It's now just a plain old private 757.

That's where they would usually park it when he was in the NYC area, not unusual at all to see it there. Obviously, he isn't using it these days, but I wouldn't be surprised if other family members use it - it's not a good idea to just leave a plane parked for months at a time unless it's properly prepared for it. It was blocked on FlightAware late in the 2016 campaign, so it's hard to say when it's been used or where it's been in the past year.

Its still being used. Executives and family who are taking care of the President Trump's businesses use it.

I have seen it many times at LGA. Not an "oh, really" moment if you fly into LGA very much.

I see the 757 often in LGA and from time to time down at PBI. I believe his sons and other executives at the Trump organization use it for business trips.

He also has a cessna Citation X tail number is N725DT that plane is really pretty awesome for a mid-size jet flies at nearly the speed of sound.

I'm surprised that the Secret Service and the Trump companies didn't do a partial repaint to cover over the Trump name for security reasons.

It's tail number is N757AF and FlightRadar24 has no records of any of its flights- https://www.flightradar24.com/data/aircraft/n757af

Can it fly LGA-Moscow nonstop?

If President Trump's children are still using the aircraft, I'm sure the SS has eyes on it at all times since his children have SS protection (adult children and spouses of the POTUS and VPOTUS can decline Secret Service protection).

I imagine that because of the “importance” of the Trump name now that this information is blocked now.

FR24 doesn't withhold any info, it's not a US-based service and I successfully tracked movements of some heads of states on private vacation thanks to it.

You can even track aircrafts going into/out of Area 51 for instance.

If Trump's 752 doesn't show any movement on FR24 then it's just collecting dust at LGA.

Flightaware has the tracking blocked at owners request for this aircraft, are you saying that you can still track blocked aircraft on FR24?

Exactly what it has been for a long time and what it will be whenever the private citizen Drumpf decides to fly it again.
The status of this aircraft has actually not changed at all.

FR24 actually blocks private jets (and also this 757) in such a way that we can see the aircraft info, but not the flight history. N757AF is still active and its movements can be seen on a different well known ADS-B tracking website.

Is there some kind of ban against taking name of this website? Please mention the name if it a public website so curious souls like myself can check it out.

Some people tend to get a bit annoyed when they see the website. But I meant http://www.adsbexchange.com which has a flight history log https://flight-data.adsbexchange.com/ where you can enter a plane's registration (in this case N757AF) and can see some of the flights.
