This may have been discussed here and if it has I apologize.

I show that IAH-MUC appears to have been loaded for the upcoming fall and winter in the GDS. Perhaps someone can confirm?

I see the same. Even on UA.com you can book IAH to MUC during December.

I looked up the flight in December 19 of this year, I saw the same result, but shows the aircraft operating the flight is a 777 200.

UA has made this flight bookable in late Fall/Winter before, then canceled it in GDS around September. Though I hope it does go year-round, I'd be scared of booking this for the slow time period right now. My main beef with UA.com is that when they cancel a flight on you, they sometimes don't give you an email heads up, and I've found out by checking my reservations and it says to call customer service.

Yup. Ive seen that before as well. What makes me think this may be different is that this particular flight hasnt been bookable in winter in a couple of years.
