Mystery aircraft in Brazil: help needed to identify!

Sun Apr 08, 2018 7:14 am

Hi,

I shot this image yonks ago at the beautiful club CEU, where over a hundred of aircraft were based.

Image

The development of the Olympic village in Rio meant that this airfield disappeared completely (huge shame!), but I digress.

My question is simple: I would like to know the type and construction number of this aircraft please.
I have Googled for quite a while but it does not appear on the lists of light aircraft.......

Thanks a lot for your help!

PU-TLW is a TL-2000 Sting ultralight designed in the Czech Republic. It belongs to Duperron Marangon Ribeiro

That's an experimental aircraft called a Glasair Merlin LSA They are actually made in Arlington, WA, at the airport, but are a Chinese company!

That s not a Glasair Merlin! Look at the tail, is different.

The mystery airplane is a Symphony SA-160.
