Is there anything stopping them from picking up the 77W? Is it too big? My assumption was generally that they would start flying more smaller planes, more frequently to places (like NYC) that can support it.

El Al Israel Airlines in this week’s schedule update revised planned Boeing 747-400 service on Tel Aviv – New York JFK route. From 14JUN19, 747 service will be reduced from up to 11 weekly to 6 weekly, and further reduce to 4 weekly from 17JUL19. Based on current update, the 747 is scheduled to serve New York until 12SEP19.
