Hi all,
I'm thinking about traveling from Riviera Maya to Cuba on late August.
While searching for flights I was surpised to see 5 flights daily non-stop each way linking CUN to HAV operated by AM, CU and 4O.
What is the main traffic on this route? Is is mainly leisure (like myself) and VFR?

VFR, CUN is now the main point of arrival in Mexico for Cubans leaving the island.

CUN has also been traditionally been the port of departure for Americans wanting to visit Cuba. I really don't know how much that has changed, I believe you can go as a tourist instead of some educational BS schooling group. I've been told they don't stamp American passports, but instead provide the visa stamp on a card inserted into the passport, that's what I've been told, it could have changed.
