Does anyone know the detail of a funny incident on Italian charter flight to Cuba in which passenger voted for or against returning to the originated airport for sure after recovering from engine trouble. Now Italy seems the most advanced democratic nation on the globe...

I give you a detail: the airplane was portuguese, and not italian (so, Portugal is more advanced democracy...).
It was a L1011, btw.

I'm sure in that situation the answer was easier to say...
That's probably because the question was: would you prefer to fly over the Atlantic with an engine failure, not knowing if you will ever arrive, or came back home safe?
