And give you a good reason to take a video.

Good thing it wasn't an NK flight, pax would have been hit up with an "crazy intruder viewing fee" :duck:

This does not speak well at all for ATL security. They are supposed to have people watching out for this kind of thing to see that proper attire is always worn within airport perimeter.

What do you think the over/under is until a certain someone cites this as a reason to shift service to DTW?

Wait...the charges are

1. Trespassing
2. Obstruction of law enforcement
3. Public indecency

I get #1...but the others?

Climbing on the wing? I suppose if you're in great shape (which he is) it is feasable

According to this site (http://denge.aero/download/door-sill-heights.pdf), a MD-80 door sill is 2.2 meters off the ground (about 7.2 feet). My guess the wing is probably a few inches below that - maybe 6 inches. So, climbing 6 feet isn't that hard. Lets also remember that the flaps were extended so there was ample options for a place to grab a hold of a surface to climb and hoist one's self up onto the wing.

Actually wearing only your underwear would almost certainly increase NK bag fee cost. More likely WN!

There have been some pics of him standing on the wing. I saved one but I’m not sure the legality of posting it here without proper credit. I’m sure if you google it you’ll find it.

It is typical piling on of nonsense charges. The only legit one they have is #1 and that just isn't a stiff enough charge. #3 is a complete load of crap. He wore the legal required clothing. No chance #3 survives.

Georgia is notorious for doing that. I doubt he even does any jail time.

Here at PDX, we actually had some guy drive on to the air field through one of the open construction gates and was stopped at one of the security checkpoints. He claimed that's how the app on his phone told him to get to the airport as he was picking up his wife... He was lucky that he got nothing more than a citation and escort off the air field by ops and airport police. Still don't know how he made it through the gate as it's manned by security... Must have happened pretty quick.

This is the kind of headline that usually starts with "Florida man"...

'Georgia man' has a ring to it I guess.

I know from first-hand experience that teenagers can do some crazy things. I pray he gets the substance abuse or mental health services he likely needs.
