On the production list, I see no QR A35K that is on the flightline or anywhere close to ready to delivery. I guess that means it is just QR that comes and brings one of its own, already delivered, planes. That seems a bit strange to me, as I would expect them to keep their newest and efficient planes in service...

Now that shark on the front of the E2. That is going to get a lot of media attention. I'll venture to say they get their money's worth there.

The point of the Bombardier plane is to display what is inside...a refreshed interior that their engineers have been working hard to bring to market. It's actually a solid interior as Zodiac (the provider of the interior) is working to help sell it as a retrofit. On the Embraer side, Zodiac is already offering retrofit options that exceed the level of improvement set in some of the E2 interior components.

Has Zodiac resolved their production issues yet? They have had a pretty disastrous few years.

There hasn't been any negative press about them in a while that I'm aware of. Maybe the takeover by SAFRAN has have got things in order.

They probably sent advance maintenance teams to BGR rather than Boston and arranged for their Access to the flight line as well. Which might not be so easy at Boston.
