An Alaska 757? That must have been wishful thinking.
At any rate, it does sound like Seattle's experienced some really wierd weather lately. Thundersnow is rare enough, let alone in Seattle in March. My uncle was caught on the 405 Thursday night during a downburst of snow, and he said the conditions approached that of a whiteout (not so much because of wind, but because the snow was coming down so quickly). Of course, the freeway came to a complete standstill and there were a number of accidents.
