Everts Air Cargo 727?

Sat Aug 04, 2018 4:16 pm

Hello everyone,

I’m a huge fanatic of the bush flying jet airlines like Everts, NAC, Empress, Nolinor etc. I checked flight aware and flight radar today and saw an everts operated 727 out of IAD. As far as I know, everts doesn’t have 727s, according to wiki at least. So I’m wondering maybe this is a test flight or something, or if it’s just a mistake on these websites. As we know, 727s have great versatility and I suppose it would make sense for everts to pick one up for heavier cargo services. What do you think?

Thanks!

I see it’s a zero g 727, is that what is solely used for or does Everts have another use for it too?

Somebody wanted to fly inside an airplane and experience fake antigravity.... I´d love to do that....dressed as Superman

How do events of all people get roped into maintaining a 727 on their certificate. That’s got Kalitta written all over it.

On a side note I love seeing the MDs taking off runway 7 from my living room. Quite unique for anchorage.

I checked out their website a few years ago. When they aren't flying zero G flights, they operate it as an ordinary 722F for commercial cargo.
