Based on 521 of Which!'s subscribers answering about LTN between May 2017-May 2018, so 0.003% of LTN's pax in that period. Also before the (on-going) terminal works had progressed. So, not terribly fair, really.

I'm surprised BFS isn't on the bottom 5. This summer, security waiting times have been 1+ hour every day, and some people have experienced up to 2 hour waiting times.

Not surprised at all by this. I've used it once and I'm never using it again, from check in to baggage reclaim everything there is a pain to get through. Not to mention actually getting to the airport.

BFS has indeed got a lot of bad press recently due to the lines and shortage of security staff. Mix that with extra flights it has caused nightmare lines at certain periods this Summer. This is not the norm though and thank god BFS is no where near as bad LTN taking a full year into account.

It sucks but it's improving lately quite quickly. Also if you have a biometric passport you can skip the massive immigration queues and be at baggage claim within 5min from disembarking as there is hardly ever a queue at the Egates.

To be fair, I travel through Luton pretty much each month and the improvement over the past 6 months has been vast. They have still got some way to go but they're way better than they were last year. In the past 12 months I've had much worse experiences at both MAN and BHX. In general I find Luton to still be worst, but at least they are heading in the right direction.

It's definitely improved after the refurbishment but the new areas are still not that great. The main shopping/food area after security is pretty cramped. The only way to find some peace and quiet is by going out to the gate areas. However, those areas are functional at best, and the new gate area (30-43) has almost nowhere you can watch the runway from on both floors, even though it faces that way. However, I did manage to be on the bus to Hitchin within 10 min of arriving at the gate from Inverness!
