If anyone finds a way to avoid seeing posts from certain users, please share! These posts make me want to throw my laptop against the wall! Could WN add BOI-ROC, ISP, GRU, BOM, CPT?

It would be nice to see some real growth and expansion return to BWI. I feel like WN has been stagnant to negative and basically just letting it ride.

More international destinations would be great as well as service to Syracuse, Roanoke, and maybe even Stewart, all with minimum service.

WN has added a large seasonality swing to BWI scheduling. I’m a bit surprised how large it is. This release should be better for BWI than the last one, but it won’t be as good as the next one.

I’m sure they know the market and how to manage it but it seems there are a lot of aircraft and crews idle over the winter/ early spring months.

You can one stop through BNA. Why overfly another focus city? If there was demand, it would be flown.

The “why overfly another focus city” logic doesn’t really work. By that logic, WN ought to cut STL-FLL (overflies BNA and TPA) and BNA-SAN (overflies PHX).

I think there is enough demand to fly it based on how they have added other cities from STL recently. BDL has pretty much the exact same PDEW and they just started it. MKE has the same and they fly it 2x daily. JAX has higher PDEW than CHS, which it runs in summer. It is also higher than a handful of other cities that are run from STL. Plus, WN overflies other focus cites all the time. So for me, JAX would be next on the list "IF" STL gets an add.

And I am pretty sure WN hasn't flown it in the past, at least not recently. F9 just started it 3x weekly, without any connection feed so there must be decent demand. WN could easily push them off. G4 flies it from BLV a couple times a week seasonally also.

MKE-CUN is back (Saturdays)

Pretty much status quo spring break schedule at MKE with 43/day. The Saturday peak includes 6x/day to Phoenix which I believe is a new high.

Not finding much new/unusual anyplace else so far.

I was thinking STL-MBJ would be an option but not both at the same time. I little surprised. Looks like 1x weekly on both.

PBI, ECP, OAK, and CHS (which is earlier than normal) are also back.

DTW keeps the Saturday MCO and TPA. Wouldn't be surprised to see the MCO-DTW route extend beyond the normal April end date.

CVG-MCO on Saturday's is good. This is perfect due to the high competition. If it's anything like the MSP and DTW Saturday Florida routes, there should still be a decent margin even with other carriers.

EWR-FLL is Sat/Sun only with this extension. EWR-MCO still appears to be done. As I mentioned months ago, WN got crushed on these 2 route.

I noticed that too. They’re probably still working on the schedule upload, there’s no way flights could have sold out that quickly.

This happened to me when I was booking a flight when one of the releases initially came out. I wanted to connect in Denver for Reno and I ended up doing PHX instead because it never came down. I don't know if they will book big groups (vacations/sports teams) before it comes out so then a bunch of seats are already sold or what.

Nope. To me its on of the STL route maps biggest gaps.

IND, SLC, JAX, ORF and CLT. In my opinion.

The STL airport director said in an interview a few months ago they want to add JAX (F9 has since added), SDF, and IND service back.
I saw one from MEM that said they almost had Southwest convinced to add service to STL but then Southwest decided it was too close. That probably holds IND-STL back some as well.

I seriously don't get this "Saturday only" schedule they always seem to put out...it screams of: "We'll add the route, but do the bare minimum, so that when it fails we can say we tried." Hence why OKC always gets the shaft on MCO and BNA.

I'm so happy LBB is getting some LUV, first Denver now regularly scheduled flights to HOU. (WN has historically only flown LBB-HOU for Thanksgiving week only.) With Texas Tech growing so quickly it will only be a matter of time before I think HOU will be daily.

But it kills the "it's too close" argument. They also fly IND-MCI...IND-STL is less than 10 miles shorter than STL-MCI as well, if WN is building up STL, IND is necessary.

There are a pile of leisure routes that truly do have the majority of their demand on Saturdays. It keeps WN's fleet utilization high on weekends (especially Sat), when they reduce frequencies on business-heavy routes.

Hmm, It appears like it's another attempt to drive westward flights through BOS. The dates I checked, the wanna get away fares from MHT to MDW are $172 and $69 from BOS.

I'm personally disappointed to see that SAN-IND did not return on this schedule (nor did MKE.) Thankfully, Tampa did.

The numbers simply don't support the idea that SAN-IND is a seasonal market, especially a deeply seasonal one. Since WN began flying the route last year, they've only served it during the peak season months of June thru August.

This is a golden opportunity for someone to seriously serve the market and I don't mean F9. Alaska, I'm talking to you!

STL and MSY nonstops for MEM seems very logical for connections. Especially MSY, that's a 6 hr drive.

To tie IND into it , routing ?-IND-STL-MEM-MSY - ? Would offer up non stops and nice no plane change options.

Thanks for that. Good information.

If I look now in March/April, I don't see flights either, do you know when it's supposed to return? Or perhaps they decided to permanently discontinue it?
