Lufthansa is preparing to take over planning and control of LCC Eurowings’ long-haul network, as the subsidiary’s role in the segment evolves, company sources say. Lufthansa said, “We absolutely cannot confirm this. We don’t comment on rumors floating around.” The shift has not been formally decided yet, but Lufthansa sources said preparations for the move are underway.

That would not be good news for SN as they were appointed to take care of the long haul operations of the Eurowings Group.

SN is indeed Burssels Airlines, but zkojq is correct, as the seven A330-200s in the Eurowings long haul fleet are operated by SunExpress Deutschland.

I guess it’s just a rumour, my friend over at SN hasn’t heard anything. SN is the competence center of the EW-group long haul operations.

LH Group has to be one of the most convoluted aviation groups, it seems to have airlines within airlines within airlines
I know most of the big players have split operations but it seems LHG seems to take it that much further

Agree. The Germanwings, then Eurowings, then LH city line, the SunExpress Deutschland, then SN Brussels Airlines flying A343 on behalf of EW, then..... airberlin assets swapping. Then, then..... I lost track. Lol
