It does not say if flight would be non-stop or not. If it is non stop, it will be a 9 or 10 hours flight on a 737 MAX. Impressive

9 or 10 hours? Its 3.200 nm. At Mach 0,78 (737 cruise), thats a little over 7h.

That is about 200 miles farther than SWF-BGO at 3,456

TXL-YYZ will be more than 300nm further, also starting in June with 737MAX9. Flight time blocked at 9h15.

Good to see Brasil and CUN getting non-stop options. Copa takes hundres of passengers a day via their PTY connections.

Will be interesting to see whether either AM or DL will codeshare or with G3 on this flight, or provide any connectivity to/from it.

They'll be paying YHZ, YYT, or BGR a visit quite often.

I will guess not - I suspect Delta doesn't care to make CUN an international connecting point. DL fares xxx-MCO-BSB can be multiples of what Gol charges.

Not the longest MAX flight, the third longest actually. BSB-MCO and EZE-PUJ are longer by distance.

I’m impressed that a 737 can do BSB-MIA, given that AA’s 757s usually have to go out with full fuel to be able to make it.

People obsess (quite understandable) about new TATL routes using the MAX and the NEO but it's very likely that as these aircaft come into the hands of the operators we will see more and more of these 7+ hour flights all over the globe.The economics of them must be very appealing.

I regularly flew 6 hours legs in Y on Austrian 738's from DXB to VIE, and they were more comfortable than EK's 777 Y, BA 744 Y, LH 340 Y and depending on what seat you were on due to HUGE avod boxes, QR 330 Y.

Granted, this was over a decade ago but it goes to show comfort has more to do with the airline than the airliner.

I agree, I've flown TK IST-ACC on a 739 in Y and that was extremely comfortable. It felt much less cramped than most wide bodies with 3-3-3 or 3-4-3 configuration.

I've done lax- pty and back on Copa. Comfortable, couldn't feel how fast time flies, but anything more on a 737 is just plain torture, I think.....

As I always say, airlines can make airliners as comfortable or uncomfortable as they'd like, doesn't matter if Airbus or Boeing or widebody or narrowbody.

Looks like the route is operating with a stop in Manaus with 737-800s.
