Nor do I think the identity or vocation of the passenger is particularly relevant.
The flight attendant WAS off duty, however he was in uniform and he was on a Delta flight. He was essentially representing his employer. His conduct impacts on the Delta brand and thus is not solely personal conduct. In addition, they occupied a lavatory that could've been used by other passengers and thus probably inconvenienced others.
Yes, Delta as an airline is very supportive of sexual minority causes. But the acceptability (or not) of this conduct has nothing to do with the gender/s of the participants involved.
Straight passengers who join the Mile High Club and get caught suffer consequences. The same applies when one of the participants is an employee. I don't see why this situation SHOULDN'T be treated any differently. Indeed, this particular situation is worse because the smutty clips went viral and the FA was in uniform. This damages a Delta asset, even if it was an accident.

Exactly. "Gay porno" isn't relevant at all. Who cares. "Delta employee in inappropriate adult video clip" would have been appropriate. Employee was fired, should have been fired. I know several females, should have been fired, were fired. This isn't a gay thing. Do something stupid at work, get fired.
Unfortunately, search 727's post history and it's easy to tell (not from a gay standpoint), he likes to stir the pot.

Delta used to be a traditional airline. Since the merger with NWA they moved to an ultra-modern anything goes type of philosophy. It has gone to the heads of many of their employees.

Northwest Airlines was ultra-modern and corrupted poor innocent Delta.

Where was this established? Have you seen the video??
usxguy wrote:And this kids, is why you shouldn't wear your airline badge and lanyard while non-reving. Had this young bottom kept his ID in his bag (there's really NO reason to have that thing dangling from your neck -- the gate agents know you are staff, the flight attendants know you are staff..), this would have just been filed under #anotherhotMileHighClub experience. Instead, it cost him his job and shutting down the Twitter servers from everyone looking for the video.

And it seems that Mr. Austin wasn't accepting deposits in this video.
Not that I'd know, but (fill in blank) "Most magical place on earth" _____guy39 on one of the social media apps may or may not have part of the video available.

Absolutely. Anyone trying to defend this is way off base. The FA should be fired. End of story, DL moves on and the former FA finds work elsewhere.
