i agree, this was done as part of some event, but it would be good if it could be done at regular intervals to give local artists a chance to shine, graffiti or otherwise, what a canvas to express your talent. impressive what you can do with a 320, imagine something larger like an old 757, 767 or bigger, that would be quite the sight. You could almost create an art park, charge a fee for folks to look at the aircraft to cover the cost of the paint etc. and have a rolling exhibit, once those are set for the final scrap, do another one.. There are plenty in the bone-yards to choose from. If I lived closer to one, I am sure i would be interested in checking it out.
That feeling when you sit at the end of a runway, brakes are released and the raw power takes over. Now that is a thing of beauty and it never gets old.
