The 2 757s are in a special livery not the new livery, tho there are elements of the new livery incorporated.

Any possibility of one of these 738s going in for the Star Wars livery one day?

Presuming timing with the movie release best guess is late November/early December. Given it will be a 738 it’s possible the plane will just come out of the paint hanger with no advanced notice.

Saw on another site that a UA738 was ferried to AMA either Thursday or Friday for the Star Wars scheme. So we'll see it in about 2 weeks (I'm allowing a little extra time for the one-off nature of this paint job)?

Thank goodness! The larger and therefore longer aircraft crate better balance for the new livery. With the additional space between large elements: UNITED branding, Tail, blue Engines and lowered wavy line don’t fight each other as much as a smaller 737 or A319 where all the large elements are too close together, and visually fight for your eye.
Each time I read that another narrow body (usually an A319 or A320) and now that I’m up to speed on the new interiors for the 752’s- I am still totally bewildered that UA is not changing the First Class seat on the 737-800! I realize they have a very large fleet of 737-800s, and thus replacing all the First Class seats wouldn’t be cheap, but I have read that CO (at the time) couldn’t afford better quality F seats, but the inexpensive ones flying today really S**K! - as well as inconsistent. The 737-900 also, but while inconsistent do have a far more comfortable seat.
I’m thrilled to bits over reading about the refurbished 752’s. When will that program start? It is SO BADLY NEEDED!

It may already have. N17105 does show to have the new configuration.... but does it have the complete interior‘S’ package is the question. If not then N17104 most likely will.

Yes A/C 105 has the new interior.

New 752 interior? Are there pics? It is so long overdue! Yet the 752 is so dominant on Tanscons, and some TATL routes, their current state is SO bad compared to the competition and even within the United fleet today (they are even yet to be refurbished 772s and 767’z and 787s!)

Thanks for picking up the error. It was a formula in the spreadsheet that should have just had the number 12. I also found a couple more errors to fix. I believe it's correct now and is definitely up to date. Thanks for using the Fleet Site and I encourage anyone to forward any mistakes they might see.
As for the content of the Fleet Site all information is publicly availabile (or estimated/revealed from those on this and other threads) - it's the tabulation of that information that I don't think is available anywhere else in one place.

I've flown on a number of 738/739 in F, and they are extremely uncomfortable......very little cushion and back support. UA needs to change those F seats ASAP!

It’s awesome that the 752s are getting some love, but I just got off a PS config bird and was actually genuinely quite impressed at the condition of the J cabin (having read on here how tired the 752s are getting!).
Those 738s though, my goodness. Power sockets broken, recliner broken (wouldn’t stay upright), wifi broken, looking forward to them getting shined up a bit!

The first 789 goes in for modification next month and the final 3 PW 77Es will in modification before years end. UA also is schedule to take delivery of 2 77Ws this year, one in November and another in December while also taking delivery of 2 78Js in the second half of December. That is a lot of Polaris seats Zodiac has manufacture while not sacrificing quality.
From what I'm hearing the problem is not nearly as bad as it was in 2017 but there could be a 2 maybe 2.5 week delay in delivery of N2749.

they are moving quick with the Airbus F retrofit. what about the A320's? they are adding an additional 4 seats for a total of 16 seats?
VC10er wrote:Quick question: does United have power at the seat in ECONOMY on the A320 fleet? My friend just boarded to come up to EWR and he texted me that there was no power anywhere, no pay TV. I cannot imagine that ANY seat today on any airline does not have power even in economy (I admit I very rarely fly regular economy unless it's a 1 or 2 hour flight. On UA I will usually be in E+ or First, because I mostly fly much longer domestic flights or international) but I am astonished that the seats on a A319 or A320 look new (and are either brand new, or close to new) and would not have power?
Is this a UA issue or typical?
