Haven't really seen many announcements about new domestic routes for next year...and only a small handful of international routes so far. A lot of new widebodies and used narrowbodies coming online.
I think this even will focus on UA trying to improve the customer experience, (I think UA private screening is here to stay so don't expect to hear UA saying we are installing PTV's on all narrowbody aircraft just my opinion, the exception could be
the 737 MAX10. I would love to see UA reverse course on the MAX9, I don't know if that will happen).
I think UA will use this event to once again tout the CRJ550 and the improvements this fleet type has over many of the older 50 seaters they are replacing. UA is really making a push to appeal to business travelers in smaller cities and towns. For years UA has ignored this market but is now realizing business travelers in smaller cities are part of the keys to DL success in the domestic market. UA is tackling this on 2 fronts upguaging aircraft but also deploying the more comfortable CRJ550. This event may focus on technology and improving technology for both the customer and the employees. This event may cover the investment UA is making into improving our onboard WiFi. Customers have been complaining for years about UA's less than reliable WiFi, UA is starting to make huge investments in improving WiFi systemwide. Personally I think UA will use this even to let customers know they hear them and they are now making the necessary investments in the product to improve the onboard experience both domestically and internationally.
