Seems like EK was struggeling in Yangon. flydubai was rumored to start Krabi a long time ago but nothing had happened yet. Now they took EK's RGN and combined RGN with Krabi on a 7M8. EK flew 4 x per week to RGN and now this combo is daily.

Interesting, I wonder if they had a short lease on them or if they made some deal with the leasing company to get out of the deal.

It seems 4 are already painted and 3 are in Storage at Bordeaux and the 4th one is also going in storage, that is really bad planning. I wish they took them now rather than 2021, the A35K looks really amazing in EY colors.

Does anyone know for certain - is the new JED terminal fully open yet? I know it was inaugurated yesterday, but all press related to it seem to say that it "will" accommodate X etc. Have ALL flights been transferred to the new terminal (including non-SV)? Does anyone know a timeline if not?

Separately, seems BAH will be delayed until year end.

I would have to agree with you. Sadly in the Middle East everything is politicized. The replacement of the brown color (of Qatar’s flag color) looks ridiculously cheap and nowhere near as impressive as the real past livery. If only they left politics out of it and provided a real retro aircraft people can associate with and remember fondly.

But on the issue of a retro 787 for Gulf Air I would have been against it for many reasons. Most important of which that Gulf Air is a shadow of its own self and needs to Foocus on its new identity, sole owner (Kingdom of Bahrain) and not dwell on the past.

It is open now, but Saudia has not moved all of its flights yet,
Domestic - all flights have been transferred except for RUH, MED, DMM and ELQ.
International - AUH, MCT and BAH flights were transferred
