I wonder if they would use these as a replacement for their current 51 A320s.

I thought so too but it seems like they didn't. They did order A321neo from what I can see.
Seems like Air Arabia is trying to build a mini hub, I wonder if the market is becoming oversaturated with Emirates, Etihad, Oman Air, Qatar and now even Saudia trying the same.
This is a game that Tim Clark invented and everybody seems to play it, they will announce that they are looking into Boeing & Airbus and they think they can get the best deal out of them...
I have seen A321NEO for AirArabia somewhere on the A320 production/delivery thread, it seems they will stick to Airbus, not matter how loud the noise is..
The market in the region is saturated especially in the UAE, we have 2 low costs & 2 full service airlines and many other chartered companies, i hope everybody have he way to succeed.
