Does anyone know the reason for the delivery delay to what should have been BA’s first A321neo G-NEOP MSN 8469?.

There was a picture somewhere. Posted in last years thread I believe. It sustained some kind of damage to the right hand side by the wing it looked like. Due March/April now I believe.

Nice to see something new in AZ livery after EI-WLA.

So I've read on a news website, that was quoting some "well informed internet aviation forums" ( imho quoting an internet aviation forum for aviation news is like quoting a drunken Hooligan at the pub as a reliable source for football news ) to report that AZ cancelled the 3 A321neos leasing contract.
They were also stating that AZ is flying "some of the most elderly planes in Europe, with some up to 22 years". Imagine if they get to know that about anyone flies even older planes, and with excellent safety records...

In the production list the MSN/8774 is listed as A20N, unknown, but with the T7-HHH license plate. Would it be a Neo ACJ?

I have a question about the first two A321N Airbus used for testing.

D-AVXA msn6673 stay on Airbus or will it be passed on to some company later?
D-AVXB msn6839 is on Airbus or will it be passed on to some company afterwards?
D-AVZO MSN/7877 is on Airbus or will it be passed on to some company afterwards?

Thank you.

Noticed A321-271NX, Air New Zealand, D-AVYL, ZK-NND, (MSN 8629) started its delivery to New Zealand yesterday (first stop muscat), and turned back over Turkey, all the way back to Hamburg. Obviously not an emergency but a big enough issue to return to XFW. Anybody know what the issue was and when she will resume delivery flight ?

What is the lead time on production for the 321LR? Just wondering when we'll see first signs of the Aer Lingus birds due to be delivered this year, with the first to enter service July 1st? Thanks

It's been said on another forum that the Iran overflight fee had not been paid. The second attempt XFW-MCT appears to be on Tue 19 Feb 2019.

I am very happy to see the 1 A321Lr neo in North America !! Air transat deserves well after 19 years of new planes straight out of the factory! 1999 air transat received their A330-234 lease from ILFC.
i love air transat and fan all boeing

Anyone have an update on MSN 8501, the first A321neo for VN? It was last photographed, with engines installed, almost six months ago, hasn't had a first flight, and hasn't had any recorded movement since!

Does anyone have any information regarding the 32 strong order of A321neos from Cathay Dragon? Approximately which season will they be delivered in 2020? And will they feature the traditional galley/lavatory layout or use one of the many spaceflex concepts? Thanks!

Also any updates on MSN 8501, VN-A616, the first VN A321neo, which was photographed six months ago, complete with engines, and hasn't even has its first flight yet? Very strange!

Any change in engine allocation expected after the lowered MAX production rate.

Airbus must've increased calculated margins on future deals.

Is there a site where they list which A321neos are ACF door configuration? When is the permanent transition to ACF, beginning or end 2020?

Aibfamily.flights site search engine have an parameter to list only the NX (ACF)
Change the option Aircraft Type to"All A321NX's Only"
https://aibfamily.flights/search?aircra ... amily=A320

I don't know when the transition will complete but seems more probable towards the end of year than beginning

Are you talking about this site: https://aibfamily.flights? The guy who runs it has something called an "Operational Log". I think its like extra information he posts that can only been seen by registered users. Anyways, when I look at the log for the Aircraft it says it had engine related issues.

The answer for the retrofit: it depends on the MSN# of the frame. All frames from about MSN3500 are retrofittable, with additional work on the wing required.
From around frame MSN5500 it is a simple exchange of wing tip device.

The fuel burn reduction is between 3 to 4%. It gives a better climb performance and slightly worse crosswind performance.
