If the MAX suspension had not happened, how many was AA supposed to have delivered by the end of 2019?

The annual report shows AA was due to get 20 MAXs in 2019.

I believe there was an interim adjustment down to 18 due to some delivery delays prior to the grounding as well

Talked to my JFK AA AMTs, Airbus haven’t been to JFK to inspect the A321T. It sits stored.

That is correct. The company just sent out a message regarding these aircraft
4 are already in service. The remaining 4 have the following expected delivery and avail for service dates

773 delivery 6/24/19 avail 7/20/19
777 delivery 7/20/19 avail 8/10/19
776 delivery 8/3/19 avail 8/24/19

This makes little sense for AS unless the MAXes come back on-line in a timely manner as AS needs to hold onto these until they have MAXes to replace them.

That makes no sense. Even if this NLG had been used on a bunch of frames prior to this, I find it very hard to believe it could ave already reached its' design life.

How often does AA repaint their planes? I’d imagine some of the first batch of planes to get the current paint job are about due for a fresh repaint?

Lastly, I apologize for asking again, is there any pictures of the 321 oasis mod? I’ve flown on the 738 oasis and is it me or the bins a tad different than the original BSI?

The A321 Oasis mod looks identical to the A321NX, just the difference in seat configuration based off the doors. So look up trip reports on those and you'll see. There could well be pictures of the mod, as N161UW has been flying around post prototype since spring.

The new 737 bins are different, they're the Space Bins which allow bags to sit sideways not flat.

Have you seen any trip reports of that aircraft though? Given that it's one aircraft out of hundreds, it might be a bit rare unless someone's specifically targeting N161UW.

Forgive me, as I have not been tracking the fates as I was under the assumption there was no chance any of these MDs would fly again. Are there indeed “a lot” that have been sold for active service? Or is it just one or two, here and there?
Did you know that a Boeing 717-200 is really a McDonnell Douglas MD95-30? ;-)

Per this article, AA is already down to 14 E190s. Planespotters says all 20 are still in service. Can anyone confirm either way?

All of the E190s are currently in service. I believe some of them are retiring by the end of 2019. There's a note at the bottom of the fleet information in that article that states as much.

At their current rate, that would not be possible. However, if they opened up multiple modification lines in a number of facilities, perhaps do-able

It seems like they managed to do almost 70 737s in less than a year that's why I was hoping they could do at least 50 321 by summer of 2020. Hopefully they open up multiple modification stations like for the 737.

Nope all 20 are flying today.

6 are supposed to be parked this Fall/Winter so that's where the 14 comes (flying in 2020) from.

That's another thing I'm wondering. Where will these 20 from AA and 60 from B6 end up? They aren't that old.

Anybody out there have info on when AAs next A321Neos are expected to be delivered? N405AN looks like it's ready for test flights, but hasn't accomplished any yet. My understanding is there are six more to be delivered in 2019.

TUL & GSO will be doing 321 OASIS as well as CLT, PIT and SAL during heavy checks.
