Why endure the nightmare and congestion of LAX when BUR, LGB, ONT & SNA is so much easier to fly in and out of. Same with OAK & SJC when it comes to SFO.

I wonder what's the cheaper way of getting from Vancouver to the Middle East or India: taking the bus from Vancouver to Seattle and connecting to the nonstop EK SEA-DXB flight, or connecting out of YVR via Europe or China.

SEA LFs, December '18 domestic and September '18 international:

AS: 86.63
AA: 86.04
DL: 87.42
F9: 91.25
HA: 96.15 I've said this before and I'll say this again, I think that HA could easily add another flight out of SEA, either a second daily to HNL or something to LIH or KOA on an A321neo year-round and do well, their LFs have been great and from my experience, their yields aren't half-bad for Hawaii either.

Just announced a few days ago. San Juan Airlines will provide scheduled service between PAE and Friday Harbor, WA. Passengers can make connections to other San Juan islands and even BLI through Friday Harbor:

Unfortunately, they are not operating directly from the PAE terminal, since there is no room. But they will operate just across the parking lot.

Service Starts May 1st, 2019
Passengers boarding in Bellingham or Friday Harbor are subject to a Passenger Facility Charge of $4.50 per person.

Leave North End / San Juans
MONDAY – FRIDAY
8:45 am (departs Friday Harbor)
6:00 pm (departs Friday Harbor)
Leaving Everett
MONDAY – FRIDAY
11:45 am
7:20 pm
Passengers departing from Bellingham, Anacortes, Orcas, or Lopez will make a connection in Friday Harbor. Call reservations for departure times from these locations.
Pickup and drop off in Everett is at Castle and Cooke Aviation. Castle and Cooke is just across the parking lot from the new Airport Terminal at Paine Field. Parking is available but limited. The facility address is 9724 32nd Place West Everett, WA 98204.

Small regional news, but good news for those that live in San Juan County and wish to try connecting through PAE rather than SEA.

I know I posted this on its own post, but I want to get the word out.

I totally agree. In fact, it's amazing that HA gets these high load-factors considering two other players with multiple dailies between SEA and HI. HA had a 2nd nonstop SEA-HNL A330 flight during the X-mas season a couple of times. I think HA could handle a 2nd HNL or OGG...or like you said, a LIH or KOA flight easily with a NEO.

Agree that HA could add more lift ex SEA - your idea for a direct to LIH or KOA sounds solid - wouldn't be surprised if they did that to compete with AS on those routes.
Impressive international numbers for the likes of BA, BR, EK, DE, DY - all near or above 95%

JetSuiteX added BFI-OAK, 3x/day on ERJ-135, starting July 1. Should be interesting to see how this route does; fares seem competitive, but they might have to do some advertising on the Seattle end, since I doubt many people know that BFI has passenger service. Additionally, JetSuiteX typically uses private jet terminals, so I wonder if they'll use BFI's terminal, or some other building there.

LAX - PSC - LAX is only a CRJ200. Not the promised E175. Maybe E175 service during the Summer as travel demand increases.
