Are there incorrect TOTAL and YTD deliveries being shown here, as #267 TOTAL and #32 YTD in 2019 seem to have been skipped? Shouldn't MSN 229 be #267 and #32 in 2019, and MSN #305 be #268 and #33 in 2019?

I hope You did recover quickly after reading my post, finding it at the same time interesting and obviously very exciting. Until now, I've been reported on the different side effects caused by reading my posts, but You are the first one who complains of sweating…

Thank You, JamesAlice, for paying attention to my post!

Image.Image.A350-941, MSN 305, reg. 9V-SHF, delivered on 11. May 2019 is Singapore Airlines#.34 Airbus A350-941 aircraft; #.6 Airbus A350-900 Regional.

On the Image.(please click on the image below)

….Image

….Singapore Airlines34th Image.A350-941 aircraft of the A350-900 Regional configuration (MTOW: 250.000 kg / 551.156 lb); MSN 305, reg. 9V-SHF, test reg. F-WZFP, with the cabin configuration C40 Y263 and powered by two Image.Trent XWB-84, three-shaft, high-bypass, turbofan engines (fan diameter: 2.997,2mm / 118,0 in; BPR: 9,6:1; engine architecture: 1F–8IPC=6HPC〨1HPT=2IPT–6LPT), OPR: 50,0:1, each rated at 374,54 kN / 38.192 kgf / 84.200 lbf, was delivered to SQ on 11. May 2019, flying on the route TLS - SIN (FLT SQ8895). The aircraft first flew on 19. Mar 2019.

Singapore AirlinesAirbus A350-941, reg. 9V-SHF, is the 35th Image.A350 aircraft that left the factory in 2019 and 265th altogether for the 24 different airlines. Of that number, 246 aircraft are of the type A350-941 and 19 of the type A350-1041.

Singapore Airlines has three different cabin configurations on their fleet of, for the time being 34, Image.A350-941aircraft:

Image.Image.A350-900 (Standard) configuration (MTOW: 275.000 kg / 606.272 lb), cabin configuration: C42 W24 Y187, which operates predominantly the long-haul flights from Singapore to destinations in Europe, the USA and South Africa. The aircraft is also used on selected flights to Australia, Japan and some shorter flights to Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta and Hong Kong.

Image.Image.A350-900 Regional configuration (MTOW: 250.000 kg / 551.156 lb), cabin configuration: C40 Y263, which operates short- and medium-haul flights from Singapore across the Asia-Pacific region. The first aircraft was delivered in November 2018, and entered service on 17. Dec 2018.

Image.Image.A350-900 ULR configuration (MTOW: 280.000 kg / 617.295 lb), cabin configuration: C67 W94, which operates ultra long-haul non-stop flights from Singapore to the USA in a 2-class configuration.

……Image
……IMG.1 – Singapore AirlinesAirbus A350 aircraft by the cabin configurations (12. May 2019)

In the Singapore Airlines’ fleet the Image.A350-900 Regional aircraft come as the complement to their medium-haul fleet, with a somewhat smaller seating capacity (C40 Y263), but capable, according to SQ’s CEO, for a little longer distances in the comparison with their Image.787-10 aircraft with the cabin configuration C36 Y301 and powered by two Image.Trent 1000-J3, three-shaft, high-bypass, turbofan engines (fan diameter: 2.844,8 mm / 112,0 in; BPR: 10,0:1; eng. architecture: 1F–8IPC=6HPC1HPT=1IPT–6LPT), OPR: 50,0:1, rated at 347,54 kN / 35.439 kgf / 78.129 lbf.

Image

In the recent issue of the type-certificate data sheet (TCDS) of the Image.A350 aircraft: Image.TCDS.EASA.A.151 Issue 17, dated on 03. Apr 2019, it is visible.(IMG.2) that the Image.A350-941 model, besides with the R-R Trent XWB-84, three-shaft, high-bypass turbofans, rated at 374,54 kN / 38.192 kgf / 84.200 lbf, has been also certified with the Image.Trent XWB-75, three-shaft, high-bypass, turbofan engines (fan diameter: 2.997,2mm / 118,0 in; BPR: 9,6:1; engine architecture: 1F–8IPC=6HPC1HPT=2IPT–6LPT), OPR: 50,0:1, rated at 330,06 kN / 33.657 kgf / 74.200 lbf, but Mod number 113768 has not been connected yet with any of the Weight Variant (WV) in this document -.IMG.3.

…...Image
…...IMG.2 - Airbus A350-900 TCDS - Engines

…...Image
…...IMG.3 - Airbus A350-900 TCDS - Maximum Certified Weights

In the last Image.A350 aircraft’s factory document - A350. ACAaMP Issue: Nov 01/16 Rev: Jun 01/18, the Weight Variant WV016 (MTOW: 278.000 kg / 612.885 lb) for the Airbus A350-900 aircraft has not been mentioned yet, but the Weight Variant WV017 (MTOW: 210.000 kg / 462.971 lb) is visible -.IMG.4

Image
IMG.4 - Airbus A350-900 ACaMP - Maximum Certified Weights

... and quite possible it is the Weight VARIANT WV017 (Mod number 113768) missing in the above mentioned document.(IMG.3).

..…Image
..…IMG.5 - Possible Mod number code (113768) related to Airbus A350-900 Maximum Certified Weight variant WV017

As I have mentioned it in my previous post; some sources have cited incorrectly the Singapore AirlinesImage.A350-900 Regional aircraft (MTOW: 250.000 kg / 551.156 lb) are powered by two Rolls-Royce Trent XWB-75, three-shaft, high-bypass turbofans, rated at 330,06 kN / 33.657 kgf / 74.200 lbf. From the recent issue of the CAAS Singapore Aircraft Register, as well as from the airline’s website, it is visible that all the versions of SQ’s Image.A350-900 aircraft are powered by two Image.Trent XWB-84, three-shaft, high-bypass turbofans (fan diameter: 2.997,2mm / 118,0 in; BPR: 9,6:1; engine architecture: 1F–8IPC=6HPC1HPT=2IPT–6LPT), OPR: 50,0:1, rated at 374,54 kN / 38.192 kgf / 84.200 lbf. Besides, it is visible the recent (above linked) issue of the type-certificate data sheet (TCDS) of the Image.A350 aircraft does not connect Trent XWB-75 engine / mod 113768.(IMG.2) nor with one of the two Weight Variants (WV005 and WV012) which include MTOW of 250.00 kg / 551.156 lb.(IMG.3). Two e-mails I have received from the airline confirm that all the variants of the Singapore AirlinesAirbus A350-900 aircraft are fitted with the same type of engine, Image.Trent XWB-84...

According to those relevant sources, Japan Airlines is the first airline to operate derated Airbus A350-900 frames; WV017 (MTOW: 210.000 kg / 462.971 lb), aimed for those domestic routes (cabin configuration F12 C94 Y263). It seems quite possible, and there are clear indications about it, the aircraft, since it will be powered by Image.Trent XWB-75, three-shaft, high-bypass turbofans (fan diameter: 2.997,2mm / 118,0 in; BPR: 9,6:1; engine architecture: 1F–8IPC=6HPC1HPT=2IPT–6LPT), OPR: 50,0:1, rated at 330,06 kN / 33.657 kgf / 74.200 lbf, will be certified as the model Airbus A350-942, rather than as the existing Airbus A350-941 powered by two Rolls-Royce Trent XWB-84, three-shaft, high-bypass turbofans, rated at 374,54 kN / 38.192 kgf / 84.200 lbf.

It means soon we might see a new model label in the Image.A350 aircraft’s TCDS, related to different type of the engines fitted to the Airbus A350-900 aircraft of the Weight VARIANT WV017 / Mod number 113768 (MTOW: 210.000 kg / 462.971 lb). Something like this…

Image
IMG.6 - Possible Airbus A350-900 Type Label changes related to the engine model

...and if those SQ’s Airbus A350-900 Regional aircraft were indeed powered by the R-R Trent XWB-75 engines, maybe we might have already seen them being labeled as the Image.A350-942. Possible reason why we haven't maybe lies in the fact that, while the JL’s A350s for domestic routes will have MTOW of 210.000 kg / 462.971 lb, those SQ’s A350-900 Regionals have noticeably higher MTOW of 250.000 kg / 551.156 lb...

The first of the four new SQ’s Image.A380-844plus (MTOW: 578.000 kg / 1.274.272 lb) aircraft, with the single-class cabin configuration Y747 and powered by four Image.Trent XWB-84, three-shaft, high-bypass, turbofan engines (fan diameter: 2.997,2mm / 118,0 in; BPR: 9,6:1; engine architecture: 1F–8IPC=6HPC1HPT=2IPT–6LPT), OPR: 50,0:1, each rated at 374,54 kN / 38.192 kgf / 84.200, is expected to join the fleet in the August 2019. The aircraft will be cerftified by EASA’s regional office in Singapore (opened on 11. Oct 2017) by the end of June, so far geting the principle approval of the African Civil Aviation Commission (AFCAC), Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC), the Russian Federal Agency for Air Transport (Rosaviatsiya) and The Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) in Australia.

Image
IMG.7 - Airbus A380-800 TCDS - Models and Engines

The model Image.A380-844plus, jointly developed by Singapore Airlines, one of the Airbus A380’s launch customer and the first operator, the Airbus SE and Rolls-Royce Singapore Pte. Ltd. comes as the part of the project named The Angels’ Wings for the Youth of the World. The project was created in cooperation of International Youth Foundation, The Government of Singapore and Singapore Airlines, with the idea of connecting young people living in the different parts of the Earth, with the idea of instilling into them, at the time of their growing up and maturing, the feeling of appreciation, respect and familiarity with the different nations, their culture, tradition, history and lifestyle. To create a numerous friendships and connections between them for a lifetime. To help them become esteemed, influential and respected members of the society, capable of inception some other, different and better place to live ... the better world ... The Whole New World.

… and wouldn’t it be an exceptional and quite unusual project?

First unit delivered in September I believe. Possibly a hold up with the interior. Launch event for the 'Upper Class' cabin was a few weeks ago.

The model of the aircraft Image.A380-844plus does not exist, neither the project named 'The Angels’ Wings for the Youth of the World'.
It was not even a joke, as You thought N14AZ. For a moment it was a real, existing and alive project, but only in my head and that's the reason I finished the post with the words:

Not at the one moment I have even laughed to those reactions to my post. I just thought: 'Oh, no, no ... no! It's not real, it doesn't exist! Air China’s Airbus A350-941, reg. B-308C, is the 36th Image.A350 aircraft that left the factory in 2019 and 266th altogether for the 24 different airlines. Of that number, 247 aircraft are of the type A350-941 and 19 of the type A350-1041.

A few of the Airbus A350 aircraft, although contractually delivered (31. Dec 2018), have never really left the factory:

….In the recent issue of the type-certificate data sheet (TCDS) of the Image.A350 aircraft: Image.TCDS.EASA.A.151 Issue 18, dated on 15. May 2019, it is visible.(IMG.1) that the Image.A350-941 model, besides with the R-R Trent XWB-84, three-shaft, high-bypass turbofans, rated at 374,54 kN / 38.192 kgf / 84.200 lbf, has been also certified with the Image.Trent XWB-75, three-shaft, high-bypass, turbofan engines (fan diameter: 2.997,2mm / 118,0 in; BPR: 9,6:1; engine architecture: 1F–8IPC=6HPC1HPT=2IPT–6LPT), OPR: 50,0:1, rated at 330,06 kN / 33.657 kgf / 74.200 lbf, but Mod number 113768 has not been connected yet with any of the Weight Variant (WV) in this document -.IMG.2.

…...Image
…...IMG.2 - Airbus A350-900 TCDS - Maximum Certified Weights

…...In this issue of the Image.A350 aircraft’s TCDS it is also visible that the new Weight Variant – WV 018 / Mod number 112498 (MTOW: 217.000 kg / 478.403 lb) was associated with the Airbus A350-900 aircraft, but unlike the Mod number 113768 (MTOW of 210.000 kg / 462.971 lb) that has been connected with the Image.Trent XWB-75 engine, rated at 330,06 kN / 33.657 kgf / 74.200 lbf, for the new Mod number 112498 (MTOW: 217.000 kg / 478.403 lb) it has not been done yet.

…...For now, we can only speculate whether will both of the mentioned Mod numbers: 112498 (MTOW: 217.000 kg / 478.403 lb) and 113768 (MTOW: 210.000 kg / 462.971 lb) and the Weight Variants associated with them, supposedly linked to the Image.Trent XWB-75 engine, will be certified as the model Airbus A350-942, rather than as the existing Airbus A350-941, powered by two Rolls-Royce Trent XWB-84, three-shaft, high-bypass turbofans, rated at 374,54 kN / 38.192 kgf / 84.200 lbf. CA should be #10, not number 19. Must be a typo.
