And that won’t start until all the B764s are finished. So still several months away from the B763ER mods to begin.

The 763 mods start in a couple weeks in CAN.

What exactly are they doing to the 763 fleet? And how many?

Very cool to see the fleet get love and hopefully an extension in life.

As always, appreciate your insight.

How many are expected to be completed prior to summer 2020?

Just 1 ship will be done tentatively.

We can also expect to have the 764 mods carry over into the fall as well.

So will that be the plane that gets held up doing certification work possibly into the summer?

I do think this will run as a spare in the summer schedule. If prior mods are any benchmark, it'll take 3-4 months from induction to STC.

Well that would be what Delta seems to do consistently and if it takes longer they can likely survive with one less spare in the system, hence my thinking that if certification takes longer, by the way which of DL's 763's is closest to a D check, because thats most likely the one their going to send first.

I don’t see anything about an A321neo not even a plane. It’s just random memes

Ohh lol. I saw it one day when we were taxing by and it looked like they were working on it, after it came from mods.

Any update on what the next routes for the new 767-400 will be, and when? I know some things have been changed due to delays.

DL 32/33 ATL-LHR from Jan 2
DL 3/4 JFK-LHR from Jan 10
DL 84/85 ATL-CDG from Jan 12
DL 140/141 JFK-BRU from Jan 30
DL 147/146 ATL-SCL from Feb 5
DL 80/81 ATL-BRU from Feb 22

DL has a spare modded 764 to cover DL 32/33 when it starts but I’m not sure if more 764s will be back in time to cover the next two routes.

Most of the ones listed above have either been delayed or dropped entirely. DL32/33 ATL-LHR is now starting Jan 27 instead of Jan 2; DL3/4 JFK-LHR now starting Jan 28 instead of Jan 10; DL140/141 JFK-BRU seems pushed out really far (checked in early April and still showing the old 764). Exception is DL147/146 ATL-SCL still starting on schedule Feb 5 no doubt due to the LATAM alliance and having to put a better aircraft there. Also the seasonal JFK-NCE looks to still be getting the refurbished 764 when it returns on Apr 2 no doubt due to the competitive pressure of UA starting EWR-NCE in May 2020.
