It was reverted back to 4. Of interesting note, however, it appears that in January instead of running 4X CRJ’s like UA normally does for some reason, the 6am and 5pm departures will be on the brand new EV E175’s in the new livery. That paint in afternoon winter snow should make for some great spotting opportunities.

I think what was most interesting from that report, and this weeks as well is that B6 appears to have gone back to 1X daily for BUF-MCO (expected after they added back in SYR) and it looks like they’re sticking with having BUF-JFK at 4X daily, which is the lowest I’ve ever seen it.

Yep, I commuted on that flight yesterday. Customers loved being on that plane, despite it being very delayed. No customers in Mint, but they got to walk through on their way to their seats. What a treat from the usual E190!

ahh i didnt think of that. That is a good point. I was hoping it meant that f9 was going to add flights or something. Since they get front row parking. (Yes, I know its not actually front row parking, some sarcasm)

It’s weird because F9 typically does their seasonal network switch in November, but this OAG report shows the route ending for the season in Oct.

Anybody know what is going on with Gate 3 at SYR? I've noticed over the last several days on the airport's live stream and verified through Flightaware Gate 3 go completely unused. This is normally B6's gate were they also RON a plane but they've changed to operate and RON only out of Gates 1 and 12. Does anyone know if this could just be lengthy maintenance on the jet bridge? I have not seen any maintenance vehicles drive around this gate however. Does anyone think this is a harbinger to another carrier coming to SYR?

Nevermind, it's maintenance. I just checked the live stream again and there's guys with trucks there playing around with the jet bridge.

After years of being stagnant and despite several network reductions, WN is finally adding winter service to ROC.

SAT only service to FLL begins in January for the winter season, as well as RSW starting a month and a half earlier than it did the last two years. With MCO, TPA, RSW, FLL and BWI Service, this is the most destinations and most daily flights WN has ever served from ROC. RSW and FLL will Be Saturday only while TPA and MCO will continue to be daily.

I couldn't believe how much DL mainline has been at ROC this month and this week, on the DTW route 2 A319's and a CRJ, Mainline on JFK, etc...

Maybe ROCDLFAN can give us an update.

Yes, I'd noticed ROC is seeing a lot of DL mainline metal right now.

Tonight's RON's include: 712 from ATL; 712 from JFK; 319 from DTW; 319 from MSP. Plus an E75 from LGA.

No 738's, though. Is the runway construction underway?

I suppose this is trickle down from the Max groundings, but a very disappointing change, at least about the CR2. I'll fly the E175 all day. I just worry that this might mean the end of mainline at SYR for a long time. It has taken years to bring mainline back to SYR, and I'm skeptical that UA has the patience to develop the upstate NY market, despite their lofty domestic growth plans.

U of R student here, all landings have been on 10/28 the last few days.

It looks like they were using 4/22 during the air show last weekend, but since then, they have been overhead coming in on 10/28.

Was glad to see the WN FLL flight to ROC. I got a great price on it, and direct to Miami area is terrific!

Unfortunately, after next week the JFK mainline and DTW mainline turn disappear, but the MSP and DTW morning mainline are staying, and the MD90 and 738 return for ATL.

With no auto breaks and the reverse thrust unable to deploy until the nose gear is on the ground, there have been several instances of “hot breaks.”

On Sept. 8th UA is running three mainline that day. Two A319 and a 737.

They did convert it to an AA admiral lounge in mid-2013. The AA lounge remained for a little over 2 years. They closed the Buffalo and San Juan clubs on October 31, 2015.

In the past BDL had a Delta Crown room (Once DL moved to the east concourse it closed), and US/AA lounge in the A concourse but that has also closed. The Escape Lounge while small is very nice and AMX platinum card holders get access on any ticket. I have used it quite a bit, I don't really see a reason for it to need showers. Overall BDL see's quite a bit of biz travel along with the EI flight to DUB which biz class passengers have access to the Escape lounge with their ticket.

On a different note, The Club at BWI is tiny as well and very outdated. It almost seems as though it is a temporary facility and often there is a wait to get in. For an airport the size of BWI, it really needs better lounges.
