Looks like a load more 'filler' guesswork to me.

Anyone has a full ntu list for Hainan Airlines? Wikipedia (not the best source I know) they have 8 more on order. Currently they have 10 787-8 and 30 787-9. Didn't realise they have such big 787 fleet.

They seem to be identified as NTU as they roll out of production

Seems Bamboo Airways will be taking up one of the NTU frames with first delivery of 787-9 this month and ditching plans with A332's

ZND already has an indigenous livery, which was obvious from initial shots of the tail.
Possible suggestions are something to celebrate Qantas' 100th birthday (November 2020), or a replacement oneworld aircraft (747 OEF will be retired soon)
