On the A350 thread there was a list of airlines expected to receive the aircraft this year. What airlines are receiving the 787 this year?

Wow everybody stepping up to the 9' ! I'd love to see AV fly a 777, even if it's a used one. Would also love them to have at least a 788 or 789 painted in their famous all red with the white "AV" on the tail old scheme. They will be 100 this year, along with KLM.

2 corrections.

You forgot KLM in your blog post as a 1st time 787-10 operator for 2019.

The other thing is that the next 6 787-9s for ET will again be powered by GE. -> source . So the flirt with RR was only temporary. This means that it could be the other unidentified order from September 2018, listed with GE engines.

The Suparna order could also easily be the new Unidentified orders that were previously CIT and Avolon orders. CIT is now Avolon, Avolon is a HNA company, Suparna is also one and they were to lease 3 787-9s from Avolon. So this this could have been a big order shuffle between the different HNA companies.

This also means that the still unidentified Juneyao Airlines order could a bit older, I suspect it's the 5 from the unidentified order placed in November 2017. In Boeing's press release on their 1st delivery it was already mentioned that it was the 1st of 10.

~~~~
In Boeing's December update there was also another change, the ancient but still outstanding Icelandair from 2006 for 1 787-8 is now listed as unidentified, still as a 787-8.
Oops, looking back at my data I realized that LN 944 is actually a delivery to CIT which is being leased to Ethiopian not a direct purchase to Ethiopian. I made the corrections in the blog post and in the spreadsheets.
Approximate delivery dates haven't been listed, Qatar's first 789 is LN909 which I would say would be around a October delivery
Any news on whether the shutdown of the US Congress might have an impact on Boeing deliveries? With the FAA on skeleton staffing levels, and only working on priority tasks, I imagine this might mean delays in getting all the required paperwork completed in time for Delivery and Flyaway schedules.
Definitely. UA would’ve had two Max9s and one 78J delivered now if not for the shutdown. Most likely same for other US carriers. Non-US, probably need FAA paperwork of some sort, but uncertain.
What's going on in Charleston as they have only had 4 flights on 2 aircraft (AA and China Eastern) since the first of the year? How soon do they ramp up to 7 per month because at this pace it's going to be a while.
UAL747-600
I suspect some of this is due to the government shutdown a lot of paperwork is required before a new plane can fly. If the FAA isn’t doing the paper, the bird sits on the ground. For example UA should’ve taken delivery of at least three new planes so far this year.... not one of them has flown since 4Jan.
Correction: Looks like a Max9 did a B2 on the 14th...
