Embraer has this annoying craze for meeting (or overcoming) the toughest goals. It's hard to make friends this way.

I was expecting WF to get some E2-175 after getting the E2-195. But it seems like their strategy with Embraer is limited?

Yeah, it's much easier to make friends by not delivering what has been agreed...

Yes, Hi think a lot of people underestimate the E2.

There will be surprises.

I was sure I commented on this...?

Anyway, well done EMB. Great job by the engineering/manufacturing depts within the company.

Hopefully market research hasn't specified them a kipper and they can get some market traction.

During testing, an alert error occurred. Electrical bus 2 was turned off (the test), alarms went off (normal so far) that the current manual directs turning off electrical bus 1 and 3. (All power off, a bad day and terminates the flight).

Specially the systems integration tests, that’s generally overlooked.

Embraer's ability to design and develop airplanes is fantastic. No other aircraft manufacturer has had so many first flights in recent years as Embraer. Fantastic! An incredible synergy between commercial, military and business aviation!

Too bad Boeing bought part of Embraer. This synergy will no longer happen. The next Embraer's first flight will take a long time to come, if it does. Congratulations to all Embraer employees. I have a lot of admiration for you all. You deserved something better... :(

But Helvetic wanted to have four this year. Obviously that will not happen. Also Azul will probably not get six aircraft...
