Interesting that they mention posibble AA expansion to terminal F. Those are going to be some very long walks for people making connections if it's true. Lately AA has been trimming more than expanding at MIA, not sure additional gates at terminal F are even needed.
AA ended FY2018 with a 2.6% increase in mainline traffic and a 14.6% increase in Eagle traffic. That's not trimming.
For the full year maybe, but towards the 4th quarter 2018 AA cut 1-LHR, 1-GRU, cut CNF entirely. They have also cut ASU, POA, LPB, CWB, VCP, REC, SSA in the past year or so. Thats what I mean by trimming.
Many of those were cut way longer than a year ago - and as you know they are almost all in Brazil where the market just collapsed. I think the only ones of those that ended in 2018 where LPB in July (but as part of a triangle, so no capacity cut) and CNF in August.
Since June AA has added SVD, GSP, OMA (resumption), HOU, GRR, PVD, TYS, BON, PEI, GEO, BUF and RSW; and adding COR and SCU so far in 2019.
LHR was simply a transfer to BA.
