I heard PHL-MLB is going year round starting in December as well. Willing to bet LGA-DAB will follow suit.

Came into DAB tonight and DL has relocated from Gate 2 to 6 (still at 4), which appears to be tied to the upcoming renovation.

I still can't believe Silver skipped town so quickly. They painted a PLANE to promote the service and left in 6 months.

I'm surprised because of the investment they made in the market. They repainted a plane for pete's sake! They sponsored the local minor league baseball team too. Those are hefty investments to go in and not give the market more than 6 months to mature. DAB-SoFla has not been served in decades, it needs more than 6 months to get going.

AA is bringing mainline to DAB. Daily except Saturdays starting this winter now bookable on AA.com. Equipment is an A319.

Service starts January 7, 2020 (ironically one year to the day since B6's last flight).

Honestly, I think this was inevitable. CLT-DAB really grew since it was re-started under the USAirways brand back in 2008. I think the big difference here is that the upgauge is not coming at the expense of other frequencies like it did in MLB. If you recall, the A319 was added and CLT-MLB shrunk to 2x daily. In this case, AA is adding a 5th flight and upgauging their midday frequency. They are clearly doing well. They're also in competition with DL who has been flying nothing but mainline for many years (with very few exceptions). Time to up the ante.

I'm surprised the A319 isn't a RON.

Thanks for providing. I have seen this and go on the website to see if they update, but they have been lacking. Didn't know if someone knew of a different source to get more update numbers.
