It Would get them ERJ jets and expand there
footprinylt in the southwest. VIAairways is based in Sanford so Florida connection would be a plus for merger

Silver doesn’t need any of that. It’s A.net so it’s all the time mergers.

It's still trying to swallow Seaborne.

Whats up with the ATR deliveries? I saw 4 Silver ATR 42s parked up near Toulouse recently.

I would not hold my breath for VIA to be operating too much longer... it seems only 2 of the 145's have been running
Turn left heading 080 contact departure

AFAIK they still hadn't been approved with FAA requirements - Training, paperwork and other legal issues

Also why are they pink?? I though an airline named "Silver" would paint their planes silver...
To me, it will always be:
- Bombardier CSeries
- Airbus A321neoLR and A321neoXLR
- EMBRACER ERJ-170, ERJ-175, ERJ-190, and ERJ-195
- MITSUBUSHI MRJ

Anti narrowbody-long range-twinjet gang. Long live the A380 and 747!

Government shutdown means no FAA paperwork to add planes or approve over water ops with the ATR. At this point they are in the same boat Hawaiian was in with the start of O'hana.

When the ATR order was announced, the company said that the ATRs would be used in the Caribbean.

True, but I saw them before the shutdown. Is it just because the approval is taking time?

Given the mess Via has become, Silver would be crazy to pursue a nerger. There are plenty of used RJ's out there if 3M wanted them.
I have been on this site 15 years. A unrecoverable email account led me to starting over. Those of you who call me a rookie, you may stop ok?

It takes so long for a small airline to get a new plane on their certificate.
