Is it true that UA is going to use the high number regional gates in A this summer in addition to the CUTE gates in A and C? I noticed the signs in the trains have been updated to list UA in all three concourses. So crazy when you think about how big of an operation that will be!
UAX will operate on 9 A-con Gates in addition to the mainline on the peak banks using the CUTE gates.
Dang, UA spread out amongst 3 concourses, gonna be quite hectic!
What’s the long term plan for how UA, WN and F9 will be spread out? Since they are the “hub” carriers, they will require the most gates. How many
gates will each have after the expansion is done and will UA go back to just B, or will they still need A and C as well?
UA has been on all three concourses for a while. The only things new will be more regional activity on A. Typically, A is for inbound/outbound international flights. I've had several domestic flights in and out that start/end as international flights. I haven't seen them tow planes too often. B is for the usual UA/UAX operations. C has been used a lot more, especially with B gates getting concrete/apron work done.
