Airlines reporting there numbers

Tue Jan 15, 2019 2:36 pm

I could not be paying attention but out of DL UA AA and also maybe AS B6 and WN it seems to me that DL is always first and AA is almost always last or near the last!!! Is there a reason behind that?

No disrespect, but to be taken seriously, you may want to:

1) Check the grammar/spelling in the title.

2) Be more specific about what numbers you are talking or enquiring about.

Have a great day!

Agreed on #1

#2 -- I'm guessing it's markets/earnings reports. Those dates/times are chosen by the companies and generally once they've chosen a date a routine, they generally stick with it to be on a schedule for analysts and industry/trade publications. Around 70% of companies stick to a schedule once it's been established. Sometimes the CEO is a morning person, sometimes he/she is an afternoon person. Most of the time, companies do try to avoid afternoon calls as a cranky CEO or negative news on an earnings call can send the stock price down before the market close. Some companies, like Apple, like to come out after the bell, to keep momentum and interest going for after hours trading and then ride the wave into the next morning for the market open.
if assumptions could fly, airliners.net would be the world's busiest airport
