Are the two new A320s (D-AIWF and AIWG) equipped with an old or a new cabin?

So, was booked on Brussels from PRG to BRU and ended up on a Eurowings flight (Eurowings name on the side of the plane) with a Czech Airlines tail. Just wondering what the exact strategy of LH is...

Especially as I booked Brussels to avoid Czech Airlines.

A343 D-AIFD left DUB in the new livery yesterday. First A343 in the new livery I believe.

Are LH going to start adding 'fake windows' to their aircraft like OS have started doing?

Sorry, the link is broken... On which aircraft do they want to add it? I know Quants is doing it on their A380s.

Is there any news on AIPB retirement?

Postponed until 25.10.
By the way, what was the reason for moving all the rest of 1989-2000-bulit A320s (except D-AIQF) to MUC?

As per its quarterly report, LH has used a right to convert 14 77x to options. This solves the often discussed question as to why the discrepancy in reporting of the order (between Boeing and LH).

Order now as 20+14.

This seems to be the case. This is a big blow for the B777X program, given that LH was one of the launch customers & had much input in setting the requirements for its development. I'm beginning to wonder if the B777X will end up being just a niche seller like the B748, A345/6, A380 & MD11?

Far too early to come to that conclusion.

The reality is that airport capacity issues remain, and there are 2 choices:

- Use smaller aircraft in a limited slots market: outcome would be a higher yield, much lower overall volume situation for airlines
- Use larger aircraft in a limited slots market: outcome would still likely be a decent yield, smaller loss of capacity taking A380s out of the market

The 77X and A350-1000 are not getting much traction at the moment as much of the replacement cycle is not yet ready to take place. This will need to be assessed in a few years when more fleet decisions are taken.

D-AIPH and AIPL are parked already for around half-month in SXF and MUC respectively. Are they grounded for further phase-out?

2 new A320F aircraft were received recently - D-AIEE (A321neo) and D-AINX (A320neo).
From the very beginning there was an issue with the livery of the first one - it has the tail painted according to old dark-blue standard (e.g. A320neos D-AINK - AINN have it) while the blue part of the fuselage itself was painted into a new blue. In this picture a crooked edge between the shades can be seen. The logo is also thinner as it used to be on initial variant of the new livery. This issue seems still not having been corrected even after delivery.

They will indeed use D-ABTx for the 779 except TK and TL as they are used for the 744.
The first 779 will be D-ABTA.

Merry X-mas everyone :santahat:

Well, the Yankee codes of the old B741 were also reused on the B748. Not so unlikely after all.

Yet the A350-1000 does not need as much traction as the 777-X does because it's part of the broader A350 program and therefore its survivability is guaranteed by the success of the A350-900.
From Hamburg with love.

When will LH have its first A320neo equipped with the new cabin?
By the way, when will the first A20N be based in MUC? I'm curious about the exact date as I had noticed that some flights out of MUC in February will be operated by 320neo.

Does anyone know the latest with the CL 343s? Are they still returning to mainline pilots or is it the status quo? Apologies for losing track.

D-AINR has been flying out of MUC since today.

Is it the start of regular neo program in MUC or was it sent as a spare aircraft due to lack of some A320s there? I'm asking because I haven't seen any neo flights in the schedule before February.
