So NK is dropping FLL and TPA in November. I knew this would happen as soon as RDU was announced. MCO does goes daily however but honestly look for NK to pull out of GSO completely in the future so they can "concentrate" on RDU. Same old story, different year and airline.

Pretty much knew this would happen. If they make MCO their main hub this might work. This kills Spirit for me unless they start flying Latin America to MCO. I was using them for South American flights. If they're only expecting O&D, then that'll be toast.

I'd really like to see someone pick up a Las Vegas and Denver flight, whether Allegiant or Spirit.

I'd also like to see United pick up Houston again. And Delta add at least MSP back, if not JFK. And someone add BOS.

GSO to the west stinks.

Also,

What I have heard is that TPA and FLL is becoming seasonal and not canceled, expect it back late Q1.

And,

Since Swift Air merged, they are no longer based at the airport anymore too.

The loss of the Admirals Club was a big blow. Would love to see a third party club like GSP has. If they can support one, so can GSO!

With the after-security areas split in two, I doubt a third party club could make it.

Just went through Jacksonville, FL yesterday and The Club at JAX was great - something like this post security accessible from both concourses would be a nice plus for GSO and cover the Medallion, Admiral, and I guess the few One Pass folks. I can't see them adding a sterile corridor just to link the two arms and place a club somewhere in the middle. Nor re-develop the entire air-side into a single security/concourse configuration like so many smaller airports across the US now.

How's that IAH-GSO flight coming? :)

How long until DL transitions its Atlanta route away from the MD88? I understand through other posts on the forum that DL is quickly retiring them largely due to parts availability and rising operating costs. I would love the see the A320 with seatback IFEs replace the aging MD88 on this busy route.

Will GSO pass the 1 million mark for boardings? Amazing growth for AA (mainline back on DFW) and NK (unfortunately they are dropping FLL and TPA.)
Still nice to see this airport grow even in the shadow of RDU and CLT and hope it can continue.
