Similar screen names

Fri Dec 11, 1998 8:51 am

For the record, I just want everyone to know that my screen name since August has been L1011. The person using L-1011 is someone else. Please don't confuse us. We are two different people. When I first registered for the forum, I tried to use L-1011 and that name was rejected. I was told I could use numbers and letters only, no punctuation. So I tried L1011 instead and it worked. Now for some reason, punctuation can be used, thus the hyphen in our new user's screen name. I just want to clear up the confusion that will surely result.

I also have a military name, :)
I started by enjoying the military aviation and later I was seduced by the commercial.

Oh, I guess there are at least 2 military screen names on here :-) I also started liking military aviation. I then started going crazy when my friends could identify airlines and GA aircraft better than I could at GSO, so I started studying civil aircraft (at first just to beat my friends) and I started liking it. I still like military aviation a lot (I plan to be an F-15E Strike Eagle pilot and then go into the civil area).

To FedEx

Hahaha. Hey if they live anywhere near me, they better watch out :-). I like FedEx so much better than UPS (mostly because of FedEx's DC-10s, MD-10s, MD-11s, and C208s).

Hello-
Well I guess I am the guilty party here!:-))))
I noticed the similar names too, L1011, and thought that some confusion might come about. I'll try to use something else in the future to clear the air. When I come up with something unique, hehe!, I'll switch on over!

Heh, seems like I'm the only "Alex" here but I use "1" instead of letter "l" anyway, so...
