Sun Feb 17, 2019 4:52 pm

It entered european airspace west of Ireland from unknown point and its destination is unknown too. It's now flying over Italy. Who could that be?

I saw a privately owned A345 or A346 in LAX yesterday (along with a UAE 747-400 and BBJ) Could it be that one?

One of the only 2 private A340-600s in the world, the other being Azerbaijan's 4K-AI08.

HZ-SKY would have looked much better if it was taken up by its original buyer, the Jordanian Government.

It looks nothing like it. The Jordanian Gov't A346 was in basic Royal Jordanian colors.
Give me a break.

Italian govrnment had a 345 rented - I think - from Etihad until about six months ago or so. It was found too expensive from the new government and was said the contract would be broken. But, as the things go usually in Italy, It may take a while, so it could be still that aircraft.

4K-AI08 has some "colourful" history too. Remember the SAAD paintjob when it was still VP-CCC?

Absolutely. It never operated a flight for them if I remember correctly. The company went bust before they could even take it.

It was gifted I believe. The pilots were sent to training by Etihad too.
