Some rumors in Rwanda say that the delay of the delivery of the RwandAir A330Neo (planned to be delivered early 2019) is linked to the Qatar Airways RwandAir deals. Qatar will also take part into the project of the brand new Kigali Airport.
Qatar Airways currently serves Kigali, every day, with a B787, and they have a weekly cargo service operated by an A330F
