Is there an Official Airline of Walt Disney World now? Alaska is Disneyland I think. Delta used to be Disney World.

enilria, reference your statement, "Delta used to be Disney World."

Yes, and I think, prior to Delta, Eastern Air Lines was the Official Airline of Disney World. If I remember, there was actually a STOLport constructed on or near DisneyWorld property (identifier DWS) at which Eastern (using a commuter affiliate) operated DeHavilland DHC-6 Twin Otter aircraft between DWS and nearby points in Florida.
Several years ago, someone here on A.Net posted a googlemaps satellite photo of where the STOLport was. You could vaguely still see the outline of the runway.

It’s still there. There are plans to install double wide and triple wide trailers at the STOLport for the construction offices of the various contractors that are working on construction projects around the property.

Shawnee Airlines was the carrier that operated the DHT out of DWS

There hasn't been an "Official Airline of Walt Disney World" since DL dropped their sponsorship in 1996 (I'm surprised it's been that long).

Didn’t Spirit hire Disney to help with their “customer service” issues??? Must be working well I guess.

This aircraft was also supposed to debut at FLL today, but it was pushed back to Wednesday due to the livery not being ready.

Yes and no.

Spirit did consult with the Disney Institute to develop a training program for their customer facing employees and contractors.

Anyone can consult/hire/contract with the Disney Institute for an appropriate fee.

You beat me to it... lol

It's a fascinating history about the mini airport at Walt Disney World that I never knew existed.

In addition to those you listed, a few others that I know of:
-TAM has at least one
-China Eastern has a few
-Southwest has (had?) one promoting Coco
-ANA has their Star Wars planes, which is somewhat Disney at the least considering Disney owns Lucasfilm, and thus Star Wars
-Japan Airlines has one, although I believe that it’s due to be removed soon (if it hasn’t already)

How ironic that Eastern never had a Disney themed aircraft. Guess they weren't the rage back then

They did have a presence at Disney World, at least in the Simpsons universe.

They did in the real world too. They use to sponsor a ride in Tomorrowland called “If You Had Wings. “

And Disney characters met each EA arrival at MCO.

Flying on Spirit to go to Disney. Sounds like a happy way to start a vacation to the happiest place on Earth.

I think it is a harmless special livery. Not bad. Remember it could have been as ugly as the Fort Worth special Spirit once had.

Yes, it looks alright on some aircraft types. I actually really like it on the cargo fleet.

That’s exactly what it is, as the making of video shows. It makes sense that they wouldn’t go through the expense and complexity of a full repaint for a livery that’s only going to exist for a few months to promote a movie.

I had the pleasure of fueling WestJet’s Frozen plane a few weeks ago and it was absolutely stunning in person.
