I think AA ended all it ties with AA, only thing you can do is earn miles.
When QR started IAH, they use to get feed from UA and AA. Then UA ended their, ties so the only feed left from IAH was AA and Westjet, Yes Westjet, used to feed pax to QR through IAH. Now AA has ended.
