Embraer E195-E2 receives type certification.

The model has been certified by FAA, EASA an ANAC.

Embraer says on 15 April that test flights have demonstrated the E195-E2 burns 1.4% less fuel than originally specified, making its per-seat fuel burn 25.4% less than the E195’s.

Still without a date, but Azul should receive the first frame in the second half this year.
