Not bad at all, fresh and modern.

Crikey! Air Italy's colours in Etihad's livery! I'm surprised they have gotten away with this (although there's time for Etihad to make a complaint).

So maybe now Etihad will go and pick a stake in them. Then in few years Nordstar will be on verge of closure, as whatever EY touches, turns to ashes.

Etihad can complain and claim compensation to help them with their losses

Colors look fresher than those 70s style colors on the etihad aircraft.

Really lovely livery, but damn! Etihad rip-off for sure.
At least it's not as savage as the Regional Paraguaya's B737-200 wearing the Gulf Air scheme!

It's a great livery, IMO, even if it's similar to Etihad. In a time where most new liveries are almost completely Eurowhite, this one's a nice upgrade.

It was never a mystery as UA does not have any Boeing 737 Max 8 on order.

It may well be a rip off but it’s one of the rare occasions where the rip off is better than the original. This livery also makes more sense, those shapes and colours do well to represent the ice and mountains of NordStar’s home regions whereas Etihad’s isn’t as clear.

Either way it’s definitely a nice upgrade!

I think this geometric mosaic thing that's everywhere right now (not just airlines) is our current equivalent of adding curved lines to everything in the 90s. It will go away.

Yes the mosaic pattern is super popular in contemporary branding right now. JetBlue also use a similar pattern on their a321 tails, credit cards and (unsurprisingly) for their Mosaic status branding. Do a quick google search for 'geometric mosaic branding' and you'll see lots of brands using it in some form as well.

The BBC's iPlayer adverts have a similar pink/purple design.

EasyJet use a lot of it in their branding as well, though not on the livery.

I like it very much. I also like Etihad's so no surprises here.
