No, according to the fleet site

It should be the next bird out of paint though.

Does anybody know if there are plans to open a paint line elsewhere? The company they are using (IAC) has locations at VCV and LCQ.

It just seems like at the rate of 3-4 aircraft per month, the repaint is going to take a very long time.

I caught the first 'Her Art' livery at a gloomy GLA the other morning at first light. Arriving from EWR on what I believe was the new livery's first international sector ?

I'm thinking once UA has caught up on the Max -9 deliveries , they'll have enough flexibility in the fleet

to speed up the narrowbody repaints.

Remember, they're not only missing the 14 frames grounded in march, but the additional but undelivered
-9's

From my understanding, the repaint schedule follows a standard airline repaint schedule; that is, planes will get repainted when they need new paint, not before.

No, if I remember correctly it was LIS that got that honor.

At this point there are now 14 UA built/undelivered Max9s parked here and there in WA state; with several more in the works.

Even so, there are currently quite a few in ‘need’ at this time .. safe to expect a slow but steady stream of ‘EvoBlu’ colors to flow out. Don’t forget the second ‘HerArt’ should be appearing in the next few days, and ‘StarWars’ by December.

Likely a Canadian airport took that honour with the 738 or Express E175.
I dumped at the gybe mark in strong winds when I looked up at a Porter Q400 on finals. Can't stop spotting.

Correct. It was the 3rd revenue flight of the plane in that scheme.

Looks like N167GJ flew AMA-STL tonight as G7 7552. Nothing went into the paint shop for it and nothing scheduled.

I'd have to imagine N449UA will be out sometime before the end of the week.

Also looks like UA2730 B764 was scheduled to ferry EWR-VCV 10/7, but this has been cancelled. Perhaps they this is the first widebody to head to paint and the first paint job in VCV?

It will most likely stay at SFO until Family Day. It has several maintenance issues that has to be fixed before it can carry any passengers.

It will most likely taxi straight to the maintenance base. I doubt there will be an employee dumb enough to post a picture on social media.

There are plenty of AV Geeks on this sight that could snap a picture and post it without an repercussions. Really surprised it wasn't already posted from AMA like the NY/NJ Her Art Plane was..

Has anyone noticed that these two brand new 737-Max 9's have slightly altered letters on them, compared to the 737-800's? The position of the letters looks much better on the MAX's than on the 737-800. The 'I' is now exactly between two windows. Of course the MAX9 is a bigger bird than her older NG sister, but still that should not really make a huge difference because the letters are on the first half of the fuselage.

It’s because it’s longer, it’s about how far the letters start from Door 1. The 737-700 will exacerbate letter issue on the 737-800 even more. It will probably be a similar thing with the 777-200 vs the 777-300ER.

On the A319 short fuselage the new livery is heavy on the front of the aircraft, with the blue titles over the blue engines over the blue cheatline.
Though I like the new livery, I prefer the United Express version without billboard UNITED

Assuming it went into the hanger shortly after it arrived, yes it should’ve been ready a few days ago. But they seem in no hurry to I’ll fly it out. Other than the 764 no other aircraft are in paint at this time.

I suspect this slow pace of repainting will continue until the Max-9's rejoin the fleet.

While I would love to see the 764 come out in the Evolution livery the fleet thread indicated only the rudder would be painted.

Should probably take the 764 off of there. It's in for touch up on the rudder.
