Believe BE want arid if it’s Ejets, and more Q400’s.
Looks like a win win scenario...?

Except that BE (a) only operates the E-175 & E-195, while the article explictly states E-190 and (b) only has fleets of 11 and 7 E-175 and E-195, respectively, which doesn't quite add up. (I don't think LGW wants a mixed fleet)
They may take the Q400s, but the E-190s will come from somewhere else.

Flybe only operate the E-175 and E-195, they do not have any E-190’s.

marcogr12 wrote:Yeah, the E-jets are supposedly more expensive to operate than the Q400s,esp.for short hops, so why the shift to Ejets?

Does anyone have the average range of LGW flights?
Other interesting point, only FlyBE seems to be super happy happy in terms of business by opération the Q400. Does someone know why?

FlyBE operates many very short routes, even around 200mi (ABZ-MME, DSA-DUB, ANR-SEN etc. etc.).
Eurowings doesn't (different geography plus fast and reliable German train network).
