That's disappointing, though I'm glad Canada Dry is still the ginger ale option.

That's most disappointing. I have a sector with them coming up next week. Pepsi, to me, tastes flat.

This is unfortunate. I am sure they got a nice deal from Pepsi, but going from Coke to Pepsi is a bummer.

I don't know if that was a joke but you can certainly buy Pepsi in Atlanta. Pepsi even has a bottling plant there.

Correct. GA has banned all sales of PepsiCo products in the state to favor Coca Cola

Wait, there's no mountain dew or diet mountain dew. That's the entire point of switching from coke to Pepsi products. Good on JetBlue for doing this.

I am not surprised with B6 switching over to Pepsi products as PepsiCo is headquartered in the NYC metropolitan area.

DL serves Coke products aboard its flights as both DL and Coca-Cola are both headquartered in Atlanta.

WN does serve some of the Keurig Dr Pepper beverage brands on its flights, including Dr Pepper, 7-up, Canada Dry, and Mott's, and both WN and Dr Pepper have their headquarters in the DFW Metroplex.

Bad move. Pepsi goes flat by the time it takes to move the cup from the table to your lips.

I don't think the location of the various headquarters has any bearing at all on which soft drink a airline chooses. It's all about who they can get the best deal from.

The former head of product development and onboard service left jetblue to go to pepsi. Maybe he had something to do with it.

I like the change to Pepsi, but no Mountain Dew? That was the best part of having the Pepsi contract back in the day.

still? Its Seagrams now

How does everyone feel about them going from passing out bottles of water to now handing you a cup of water? Will you continue to ask for your softdrink or coffee and some water? Or skip the water since its in cup.

How many other airlines use Pepsi? I feel like most US domestic carriers are Coke only.

Coke versus Pepsi, seriously? If I'm at a restaurant and order a Coke and the waiter says "WE only have Pepsi, is that okay?", does anybody actually turn it down? I mean, you are already going down the sugary drink avenue at that point, how many could even tell the difference in a blind taste test? Unless I worked for one company or the other, I could care less if they gave me Coke, Pepsi, RC, Polar or Sam's Club cola.

To me, losing the individual water bottles is the bigger story here. I get that it is more environmentally responsible to do away with small, individual sized bottles, but I am less a fan of having water given to me in a plastic cup (which can't be any better for the environment than a recyclable plastic bottle, can it?) I like having a water bottle to hold or keep in the seat pouch during descent, it's much harder to do that with a cup. I wish more airports had chilled water dispensers for resuable bottles...I've seen a few in my travels but they are not commonplace. I guess that's going to be my next mandatory travel accessory.
None shall pass!!!!

I don’t really care if they serve coke or Pepsi products (I think they can both taste pretty darn good after a long day) but I think the real disappointment here is the lack of choices. Does it really cost that much more to offer more choice?

It's defintely NOT Canada Dry, I've flown a number of times on B6 over the last 8 weeks and it's all Seagrams, including my SJU-BOS flight this morning. I actually don't mind the switch to CD, the water scenario sucks, because if you take the drink (of whatever variety) and a water, you can put it in the seatback pocket until you are ready, especially if you happen to be working, it leaves some space for your laptop, a straight pour will cause space issues unless you decide to decline the ice cup for a soft drink.

Overall, not a fan of this move. Even without the Coke vs Pepsi battle.

Which is why brands rarely matter when it comes to soft drinks. When I feel the need far carbonated sugar water, store brands work just fine. And half the price!
